Chiang Mai 19 to 22-01
We are the 19th of January. My travel started on the 11th of january.
I had arrive in Chiang Mai and stay until 22th. 700Km from Bangkok but by train from sukhothai 5h30
Local transports are not so good and fast, but there is so much to look at and have fun.
Chiang Mai, its a little Bangkok, about noise, scooter, cars, bike, going around.
To do it, take a scooter and take your time. But as far as I know, I don't know how to drive it so I walked all day.
You have a mix of modern and old, who are melting quite well. You can cross a street with Irish Pub and next corner Food Market with Meat and Fish just on wood, not very fresh... (the flies and odors tells you!!!)
Here you can't thing of where the food come ??? well as far as its cooked... ITS OK !!
City of 300 temples, well, you have one in each corners.
This city are so nice for leaving and spending time.
For the next day, I took a trek with Elephant, in jungle.
Before to be with Elephant, the road to go was more like a washing machin for 1h.
But what a wonderful time with them. Spending half day, to feed, wash and walk with this huge animal.
They eat a lot, sugar can and Bananas !!! They loved to be in the water, and spending times with them was just magic !! But the river was so cold that refresh me to much.
If you can spend time with them, even half day, jus TAKE IT...
