Golden rock

The Golden Rock is situated just up north to Hpa An. In the city of Kinpun, you have two choice to go there :

• First go by Foot, around 4 to 6h walking in the mountain until 1200m. Which I did, and its a real good time but HARD. It's a victory when you arrive and see that.

• Second, Go by truck that pick you up in Kinpun for 45min. Struggle by to much people and full. 50 people per Truck, when 30 will be enough. I have done it to get back to the city. And don't be afraid, it go fast but you will still be alive at the end.

At the end, you have a big temple where a Big Rock covert by gold is staying and nobody knows how.

It's a well-know pilgrimage for buddhist. It seemed, as a legend, perched on a strand of buddha's hair. The rock seems defy gravity but only men are allowed to touch it.

That's beautiful up there and I had to say, when you have climb 4 h, the place is nice to stay 1 or 2 h.

After few days in the south-east of Myanmar, it's time to go on the north and Get to Bagan.
